Why was comfrey removed from Dr. Christopher's Original BF&C (Complete Tissue & Bone) Formula?
The FDA determined that products containing comfrey were not to be consumed internally therefore the Christopher Family was instructed to remove comfrey. David Christopher reformulated this product adding Lungwort for allantoin, Aloe Vera for its cell proliferant qualities, Plantain for soothing & Slippery Elm for its regenerative properties in place of comfrey. However, you can still purchase the original BF&C formula with comfrey in bulk.
